报告题目:Leakage-Resilient Cryptography with Optimal Leakage Rate -- New Framework and Lattice-based Instantiations

摘    要:Leakage rate is an important measure of quality for a leakage resilient public-key encryption scheme. There are many existing constructions that achieve the optimal leakage rate, i.e., $1-o(1)$, from various assumptions, such as DLIN and DDH. Surprisingly, it is still open how to achieve the optimal leakage rate from lattices, with a polynomial modulus and in the standard model.

In this work, we present the first constructions of leakage resilient PKE, IBE, and ABE with the optimal leakage rate in both the relative leakage model and the bounded-retrieval model, from LWE with a polynomial modulus. To achieve this, we refine the framework from Hazay et al. (Eurocrypt 13), which only yields a leakage rate O(log/), by incorporating  a weak form of attribute-based encryption into their framework. Our refined framework can significantly improve the leakage rate, and particularly, yield leakage resilient PKE, IBE, and ABE with the optimal rates, when it is instantiated with several existing lattice-based ABE. This solves several open questions, including the above-mentioned one and one left by Hazay et al. (Eurocrypt 13).

报告人简介:来齐齐,博士(博士后)。2015年获得西安电子科技大学密码学专业博士学位,2011年获得西安电子科技大学密码学专业硕士学位。在国内外知名学术期刊和国际知名学术会议发表多篇SCI检索、EI检索论文。主持国家级项目1项、省部级项目1项。
