报告题目：D2D-based URLLC in5G Wireless Networks
This presentation exploits ultra reliable and low latencycommunication (URLLC) in 5G wireless networks. First, 5G main techniques, i.e.,eMBB, mMTC, URLLC, are introduced, which act as different services in different5G applications. Second, several 5G use cases are exploited to expand these techniques.Next part is to lie on the exploitation of the URLLC, which pursues superreliable and low latency requirements. Specifically, device-to-device (D2D) fitswithin URLLC, especially in the mission-critical communications. Furthermore,two types of low-latency transmission are introduced in our recent works,particularly, the one is to focus on finite block length capacity to measurethe achievable rate, effective capacity/energy efficiency is considered asmetric in the other one. In the first work, an optimal power control policy isproposed to solve this problem, where closed-form expression for the maximumachievable rate and optimal average power are analysed. The second work employsthe Dinkelbach method and successive convex approximation (SCA) to iterativelyoptimize the power allocation to maximize the effective energy efficiency.
Dr. Zheng Chu received the Ph.D. degree fromNewcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., in 2016. He was with theFaculty of Science and Technology, Middlesex University, London, U.K., from2016 to 2017. He is currently with the 5G Innovation Centre, Institute forCommunication Systems, University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K. His currentresearch interests include 5G communications, IoT systems, physical layersecurity, wireless power transfer, UAV, MEC, convex optimization, game theory,and machine learning.He has authored over 70 journal and conference papers inthese areas, such as IEEE JSAC,IEEE IoT Journal,IEEE TSP,IEEE TWC,IEEE TVT,IEEETIFS,IEEE TGCN,IEEE Systems Journal,IEEE WCL,IEEE CL, IEEE ICC, IEEE GLOBECOM,etc. He is an IEEE member, andhas > 600 citations with aH-index of 13 inGoogle Scholar profile.
